Federal Minister of Interior, Mr. Rana Sanaullah Khan visited DGIP, Headquarters on 10 June 2023 for the inauguration of three initiatives of Directorate General Immigration & Passports for public facilitation. DGI&P Director General Yawar Hussain and NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik were also present on the occasion. Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah briefed about the following initiatives taken by Interior Ministry for public convenience.
On this occasion, Contract Signing Ceremony was also held between IMPASS and NADRA regarding the establishment of 30 Passport Processing Counters (PPCs) at the Tehsils level all across Pakistan and the introduction of Inland Online Passport Renewal Facility for citizens of Pakistan (only for passport renewal cases).
Honorable Minister appreciated the efforts of the respected Director General, Immigration and Passport and his team for completing these initiatives of public interest in a record period of time with the use of minimal resources.
One Window Passport Processing Counters (PPC) are opened inside NADRA Offices in the following Tehsils now for Public Facilitation:
